RAQ #1: Is there an official Community Operations group?
Great Scot! Yes, there is - Behold, communityops!
RAQ #2: Should I add said group to my devWatch?
As a biased Community Operations operator in our community, I'm gonna say yes, you should.
RAQ #3: Why should I watch the official group of the Community Operations department?
In the case you want to stay up to date on news and relevant facts on all things community operations, yes, you logically should watch communityops.
Also, consider it an official deviantART news and information source curated by Community Operations staff.
RAQ #4: What will those Community Operations news and facts entail?
For an introduction, Community Operations first and foremost serves you by way of the Help Desk for most deviantART related inquiries and problems as well as the Moderation Desk specifically for deviation related matters. Hence, the CommOps team is largely responsible for making sure you can easily get to know what you want or need to know about all of deviantART in general and also specifically our policies and official procedures in regards to them.
That's your first fact right there! Generally we aim to inform you of relevant community matters, current topics of interest and tips.
We'd like you to be most informed with facts!
RAQ #5: How can I +watch the communityops group?
I'm glad I'm asking myself. Simply go to communityops and click on the +Watch button located in the sidebar on the left, approximately 750 pixels from the top of the page.
RAQ #6: Will we get to see renonevada in Princess Leia cosplay when we watch communityops?
Good grief, I hope not and neither should you. However, if that will ever happen, you'll get that questionable news through communityops first!
RAQ #7: Did you just post a new Community Operations newsletter?
Wow, as coincidence would have it, we actually just did that! You can read it right at fourteenthstar.deviantart.com/… !
RAQ #8: Why am I not watching communityops yet?
Yes, why not? If you have a reason for not wanting to watch our group, you can tell us. We won't be offended. We are trained professional not-being-offended-ers!
RAQ #9: Should I also watch the individual Community Operations staff human beings?
You can do that of course. We'd love that. We post relevant community information on our own pages here and there but you'd also have to put up with not really CommOps related posts as well as straight up personal posts and deviation submissions.
RAQ #10: Why is there no real RAQ #10?
This is sadly all the informative humor I have in me for one day.
